Come and enjoy a meal with a difference in the Shugborough tearooms.
While Mrs Beeton's viper stew isn’t on the menu just yet, the Complete Working Historic Estate at Shugborough has an exciting bringing the best of Mrs Beeton to the modern plate for the modern palate.
Sumptuous, historically inspired food is available every day, and many dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients produced on the estate itself.
Enjoy, among other delights, delicious Shugborough sausage, Staffordshire oatcakes filled with Shugborough cream cheese and chives, scones home-made from Shugborough flour, spiced apple cake, courgette cake, and real lemonade.

As well as our licensed restaurant for full meals (open daily) or the farm granary for lighter snacks (open weekends and school holidays), Shugborough also has acres and acres of parkland with dedicated picnic spots for eating in the open air. On hot summer days we are sure that you will struggle to resist a local farm produced ice cream for our ice cream shop at the Servants' Quarters entrance.
For the journey home you can also purchase traditional sweets from Mrs Fagans Sweet Shop or the National Trust gift shop, or even buy 'Shugborough Ale' or how about 'Stoneground Flour' produced in our very own working mill..(Free recipes included!)
