Ahhh… to be at Shugborough when Christmas evenings come…it’s like stepping into a Christmas card scene

four unmissable evenings of special opening hours of the UK’s only complete working historic estate, combining the dazzling outdoor Christmas card scene of a stunning country estate, the Victorian hustle and bustle of a working Servants’ Quarters and the grand festive atmosphere of a very special and stately Christmas in the spectacularly decorated Mansion House awash with the light of hundreds of candles.

Shugborough’s magnificent magical Candlelit Christmas Evenings are here again 5 – 8 December 2007, with street entertainers, fire jugglers, live music and a bustling Servants Quarters’ where kitchen maids prepare a grand Victorian festive feast.

Join us at this festive time of year to see Shugborough at its most beautiful and captivating, when the glimmer of hundreds of candles, opulent decorations and stunning real seasonal floral displays and foliage are coupled with the sound of carols being sung to evoke the real spirit of Christmas in the Mansion House.

Children can meet the perfect Father Christmas and experience real magical snow showers every night, whatever the weather!
