Sat Aug 29th   Hermits and Hidden Gems
The tour leader takes visitors on a fascinating visit to the Haywood Cliffs with magnificent views across the estate towards Tixall Gatehouse, Stafford Castle and Cannock Chase. Highlights of the walk include an ice  age glacier stone, a local ghost story and stories about the rather odd fashion of hiring hermits at stately homes.
