OCTOBER HALF TERM FUN AT SHUGBOROUGH

Half term fun and frolics will be the order of the day at Shugborough as the estate closes its season with a bumper package of activities for all the family.

The estate will be hosting half term activities from Saturday October 25 to Wednesday October 29 from 11am until 5pm.

Youngsters and adults can have a whale of a time at the farm where’s there will be twice daily craft activities and a fun spooks theme with a witches’ birthday party, Ghoul’s Grand Feast, feely box fun and a giant spider.

There’ll also be storytime sessions as well as the farm’s regular programme of activities which includes: baking, milling, cheese and butter making.

Kids can also meet all the friendly farm animals, take a fun train ride on the colourful train, burn off some energy in the accessible playground and pop into the old-fashioned sweet shop.

In the servants’ quarters baking in the huge Victorian kitchen will follow a spooky theme with Halloween baking, there’ll also be scary mask making activities and a story quiz.

The estate closes to the public on October 29 but will re-open on the evening of October 31 for the area’s best-loved family Halloween event.
