Gardens Header

There are many good reasons for visiting the 900 acre seat of the Earls of Lichfield including the 18th-century Mansion House, Working Servants' Quarters and Georgian Farm, which are set against the stunning backdrop of Grade One listed riverside gardens containing eight enigmatic Monuments and Grand Follies.

The stunning 19th century Grade One listed gardens feature a large herbaceous border, Rhododendrons and Azaleas.  Excellent daffodil display.  Formal Terraces framed by lavender and Bright Smile roses. Beautiful ‘butterfly garden’; comprising blocks of herbaceous plants attractive to bees and butterflies.

The estate is set in swathes of lush green parkland and historic woodlands with several walks and trails. Grade One listed formal gardens filled with English lavender and Bright Smile roses frame a perfect riverside setting.
